Get Involved
Cornerstone has many opportunities for you to get involved. If you would like more information please contact the church office
Praise Team
Our Praise Teams are made up of individual instrumentalists and vocalists who lead the church in our worship celebrations. We help the church connect to God’s presence by demonstrating true, sincere, and vibrant worship. We understand that the reason we are part of this team ministry is because of a calling and as an act of service for Christ.
Opportunities and Expectations:
-
To create an incredible atmosphere for people to connect with God and worship Him.
-
To live a life of worship
-
To share in the work and rewards of serving in ministry together.
-
To be learners of our craft.
-
To willingly use our hearts, souls, voices, and bodies in our praise and worship as a passionate expression of love and gratitude to the Father.
-
We put others above ourselves, always encouraging and building each other up.
-
We are open and willing to change.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a group of students and adults that enjoy coming together to raise their voices to God. It's a great place to share in friendships and in our love of music. We invite you to join us at our next rehearsal. We meet on Wednesday evenings at Cornerstone from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Our Director, Cheryl Jeska can be reached with any questions.
Ecumenibells
Ecumenibells is an ecumenical hand bell choir made up of people from area churches. The group was started by Albright and Wesley United Methodist Churches. Our goal is to minister through music, challenge ourselves in performance and above all have fun as we ring praises to God. All are welcome to join the group.
Ecumenibells practices on Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m. at Cornerstone United Methodist Church. For more information on the group contact Rennae Petersen or the church office.
