Family is incredibly important to Jeanie and I. I like to tell people that I have One wife, Two Children, Three cats and hopefully some day Four + grandchildren. We both grew up in Richfield, MN only 4 blocks away from each other; attended the same high school and as a result we have many of the same friends from our high school days. Even our parents were good friends and knew each other over many years. Because our family and friends are back in the Twin Cities, we look forward to fully entering into the life of the Cornerstone Church family and entering into friendships with many of you that will hopefully last for a lifetime!
My greatest joy as a pastor is to shepherd God’s people and to preach and teach the Word of God. I have been a pastor for many years and as a result I have a very thick skin! In other words, please don’t worry about insulting me or worry about wounding my pride and ego. I have much to learn from YOU, and I want to hear your feedback. Even your negative comments or suggestions for change and improvement will be welcomed. I sincerely desire to be an authentic real person whom you can soon relate to as your friend, fellow believer in Christ, in addition to being a pastor and spiritual shepherd in your life.
We are at a very exciting moment in the newly merged Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Let’s move forward together to transform our community through the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ and through the life changing message of salvation in Him!
Peace & Joy!
P.S. I will be having open office hours at Cornerstone UMC every Tuesday afternoon from 1-5 pm. Please stop by to talk, pray or have a cup of coffee. You do not have to have an appointment or call in advance. Just come on by!!! I look forward to getting to know YOU!!!
