It’s that time of year when recent high school graduates go away to college (or start college) for the first time. Cornerstone United Methodist Church had an incredible group of 7 high school graduates this last spring: Kali Ginocchio, Kassidy Tocco, Devin Neubeck, Megan Thooft, Nathan Leach, Torin Shaw and Jacob Schaefer. They are gifted and amazing young adults who were deeply involved in the life of Cornerstone Church and dearly loved by our congregation.
I’m sure that they are all really really excited to be done with high school and to be moving onto the next phase of their lives. Some of them will still be in the Marshall community and some will be attending colleges and universities in other towns. Their families still live here in Marshall, so they will be back from time to time. But they are now young adults moving onto a new phase of their lives and things will never quite be the same. And so it is with great love and fondness in our hearts that we say “Goodbye!” to our recent High School graduates. May God richly bless you with His peace and presence as you walk into the next adventure of your lives.
Peace & Joy!
